British Society for Immunology Congress 2017 | 4 - 7 December, Brighton UK

Gitta Stockinger
The Francis Crick Institute, UK

I obtained my PhD in Biology from the University of Mainz (Germany) and did postdoctoral studies in London, Cambridge and Heidelberg before spending 6 years at the Basel Institute for Immunology. I moved to the NIMR in London in 1991 and worked on mechanisms of T cell tolerance, T cell homeostasis and T cell memory.

We moved to the Francis Crick Institute in October 2016 and the current focus of my lab is on intestinal Th17 cells and physiological roles of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor in the immune system and beyond.
